What is the MicroDoctor®?

How often should I use it and for how long?
Depending on the client some treatments will have immediate effect, some will be delayed and continue to improve a day or two after the treatment period. We recommend a 14 day treatment for most people.
I cannot feel anything during treatments?
You will not normally feel anything during the treatments depending on your sensitivity.
How is a MicroDoctor® different from a Tens Machine?
The microcurrent does not have the aggressive feeling you get from a Tens machine. The added advantage of the MicroDoctor® is that it not only stops the pain, but unlike other devices it speeds up healing.
Can I reuse the pads?
Yes, the pads are reusable. To reactivate the pads you should gently apply water or a gel, this will reactivate the pads for further treatments.
How many treatments will I get from the pads?
Pads will last approx 20 treatments. It will depend upon on your skin and regularly cleaning the pads. Extra pads can be used on our hotline number: 0871 911 1874 (8 pads for £14.80.)

Can I use MicroDoctor® on animals?
We recommend that the MicroDoctor® is not used on animals although there is microvet version, see www.microvet.co.uk for more information.
When using the MicroDoctor® can you move around or do you need to sit still?
You can always move when having the treatment.
Should I drink water before using the machine?
Yes. It has been proven that the body heals faster when well hydrated.
What is a Class 2 medical device?
Class 2a certification means that it is an approved medical device. Beware of cheap imitations that do not have this classification. Note: at it is an electrical device it can interfere with objects such as pacemakers.
Troubleshooting
The light appears when the machine is on but will not select a programme
Turn the unit on and a light will appear to the right of the button
Then press the select button and a light will appear on either 1 or 2 programme
Then press start button and unit should now work
The yellow conductivity light has not come on at the bottom of the unit.
Ensure the pads are attached to the area to be treated. The pads must be adhesive, when they loose their adhesiveness apply the water or gel or order new pads. Ensure the jack plug is inserted correctly into the unit.
